NEWS📰 📣: Alongside a thrilling cast, band, and team to include special guests to be announced, Daniel is presenting for the first time ever for a public audience, the score to DREAM: A Freudian Musical on November 15th at Joe's Pub at the conclusion of his residency there. Set inside the dreamspace, the show tells the little-known story of Sabina Spielrein, a “hysteria” patient-turned-psychoanalyst; her physician-turned-lover Carl Jung; and their mutual mentor, Sigmund Freud.

I'm a Queens-based composer, performer, and writer of innovative musicals. My Moby-Dick musical KILL THE WHALE has seen development at Joe's Pub, Yaddo, Montclair State University Peak Performances, Polyphone Festival, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Corkscrew Festival, NYU, the Melville Bi-Centennial Conference, and Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, and has received funding through the American Theatre Wing, the Saw Recording Grants, NFAA YoungArts, and the NYFA.
Peak Performances at MSU commissioned from me a third draft of my sophomore musical DREAM in 2025. The show has also seen development at the Joe's Pub Working Group residency, Adelphi University, the Good Hart Residency, Yaddo, and the Emergence Residency at Plaxall Gallery in LIC, and is being co-presented by YoungArts for a multi-night engagement at Joe's Pub.
I'm a 2023 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient, a 2023 Saw Recording Grant recipient, the recipient of a 2023 NYFA grant, and a 2023 CREATE Finalist with the American Composers Forum. I have been a Tony voter with the American Theatre Wing for the 2024–2026 seasons, and am a part of the Joe's Pub Working Group 2025–2026 artist residency at The Public Theater.
